Partner Spotlight: Gigamon and Data Warden Team Up to Optimize IT Teams in Mexico

From its headquarters in Mexico City, Data Warden offers a high level of specialization in cybersecurity and a team of IT experts wholly committed to the success and satisfaction of their business clients.

We chatted with Data Warden’s sales director, Jose Luis Sanchez, to find out how the company works with Gigamon to provide clients with an innovative portfolio of advanced security solutions and high-quality service.

Gigamon: Who is Data Warden, and what is the company’s history?

Jose: Data Warden is an information technology company in Mexico focused on delivering specialized IT services, cybersecurity products and applications, and business continuity to help protect the critical assets of our customers.

Gigamon: What does your company name stand for?

Jose: Data Warden refers to a group of soldiers who protect customers’ critical information.

Gigamon: Describe your company culture. What makes you tick?

Jose: We are a truly human company with a young, dynamic, and inclusive team that lives and promotes an innovative spirit.

Gigamon: When and how did you become a Gigamon partner?

Jose: In 2013, while we were working on cybersecurity architecture for a global bank, we saw the need to take advantage of net flows to make a complete security ecosystem. We could see then that a partnership with Gigamon would be an economically viable one, and we opted to join forces.

Gigamon: If you had to describe Gigamon with just one word, what would it be?

Jose: Enabler.

Gigamon: What are some of your market’s specifics, advantages, and challenges when it comes to network security and visibility?

Jose: The most important characteristic to have in our market is the ability to integrate solutions in a simple architecture with the least amount of equipment. Our biggest challenge, though, is to provide IT teams with reliable information, including information about active threats in the infrastructure, so that the response teams can act with confidence. Along with the root cause analysis data, this knowledge reduces downtimes in critical services and optimizes the work of IT teams.
