The Gigamon Community Surpasses 10,000 Members and Celebrates Its Two-Year Birthday!

This week, we are celebrating two very special milestones for the Gigamon Community.

10K Members

First, we have surpassed 10,000 Community members. This is a major milestone and we are grateful for all the networking, InfoSec and incident responders who have joined our Community. It’s our members who make our Community so valuable, interesting and fun.

Our members are diverse, including customers, Gigamon partners and public members. Our members are global, spanning 170 countries. And, more importantly, our members are active, with an average of 2,700 Community visits per week with more than 2,500 questions, answers and group posts. And for our most active members and contributors, we have awarded more than 1,000 badges and named 10 Community MVPs.

But it’s really not about the numbers; it’s all of this activity translating into knowledge, learning, collaboration and more network visibility and security for their organizations and their constituents.

Happy Two-Year Birthday!

To top things off, on August 16 we celebrated our two-year Community birthday. It’s been a fun, crazy, stressful and productive journey over the past two years, with numerous site improvements, integrations, collaborations and feedback from you all.

And none of this happens magically. There is a group of hard-working folks here at Gigamon from corporate marketing, IT, product and technical marketing, support and services, customer success, our channel team and our sales teams who all contribute, whether it’s answering questions, helping with the design of our site, running reports, delivering our user documentation, creating content and telling us where we can do better.
