Gigamon Visualyze: Team Up with Peers to Embrace the Hybrid Cloud Future

Updated September 30, 2021.

Our upcoming Visualyze conference is all about you. Whether you’re a seasoned Gigamon customer or an IT professional looking to learn more about the role visibility plays in simplifying, securing, and scaling your hybrid cloud environment, Visualyze has plenty of opportunities for you to bring your curiosity and your knowledge to fellow attendees. The conference runs from May 11–13 and is free.

  • The conference’s Birds of a Feather sessions give you a chance to share your wisdom and trade tips with fellow tech pros
  • And if you want to chat with in-house Gigamon architects and lead engineers about the tools they’ve built for you, Ask an Engineer sessions will be a real treat

We’ll discuss both of those in more depth in a moment. But first, let’s talk about another topic that’s of interest to many attendees: Visibility into hybrid networks built on Amazon AWS.

#1. Here’s Why AWS Recommends You Attend Visualyze

If you’re running workloads on AWS, visibility into your network is a foundational item to help ensure that your network is secure and functional. Scott Ward, Principal Solutions Architect at AWS, will lead a must-watch keynote at Visualyze for anyone who uses Amazon’s cloud service and wants to know how Gigamon can help provide that visibility.

“As organizations move workloads to the cloud, they want to ensure clear visibility around potential vulnerabilities in their environment,” Ward says. He’ll provide an overview of how you can gain visibility into your AWS network traffic, leverage Gigamon to help with analytics and traffic management, and gain more confidence around the traffic operations and security.

#2. Flock Together with Your Peers

As a Gigamon Visualyze attendee, you can share your smarts with fellow Gigamon customers at our Birds of a Feather sessions. These are informal gatherings for connecting with like-minded attendees to discuss a specific topic area without a preplanned agenda — feel free to talk to your peers about whatever’s on your mind! These sessions are an amazing place to learn and meet other members of the Gigamon user community.

Birds of a Feather topics include:

Wednesday, May 12:

  • Cloud migration
  • TLS/SSL decryption
  • Federal government
  • Securing 5G networks
  • State, local, and education

Thursday, May 13:

  • Ansible for 5G
  • Containers and automation
  • NDR and incident response
  • Financial services
  • Scaling 5G visibility
  • Healthcare

#3. Ask the Engineer

When you attend Visualyze, you’ll also have a unique opportunity to satisfy your curiosity about why and how Gigamon builds our products. At Ask the Engineer sessions, you can pose your questions to Gigamon product engineers and architects and get hints on future development plans.

  • Wednesday, May 12: Security
  • Thursday, May 13: Core infrastructure

Don’t Miss These Three Information-Packed Days

There’s even more in store for Visualyze attendees, like keynotes from industry thought leaders Brian Krebs and Thomas Koulopoulos, messages from Gigamon executives, and technical presentations for those interested in subjects ranging from core visibility to security to 5G. Don’t miss your chance to finally take control of your entire hybrid cloud.

“Enterprises and government agencies are increasingly looking for solutions to help them optimize network and application performance and stay ahead of crushing security incidents,” says Vince Berk, CTO of Riverbed. “The Gigamon Visualyze conference is an ideal place to understand issues and trends around visibility into networks and clouds.”
